Keira & Scott
Innes House
After months of planning all the nitty gritty little bits, your wedding should be a day to enjoy and celebrate with friends and family and that is exactly what Kiera and Scott did and oh what a day to remember it was.
My day started with a wow and that wow was driving up to the most beautiful venue that is Innes House. The perfect venue for the most perfect couple. I was particularly looking forward to this wedding after having a pre-wedding shoot with the couple only a few months before. I knew today was going to be a brilliant wedding full of laughter and love as at the pre wedding shoot this had shone through brightly. Preparations were all underway and as I suspected the laughter was out in full force, who knew a conversation about the price of butter could cause such hilarity! Prosecco bubbles were being drank and the day was already shaping up to be a brilliant day with the bride and bridesmaids even having a sneaky peek out the windows as guests arrived. Now that hair and makeup was done, I had to pinch the bridesmaids and Keira for a little fun with photos and oh were they game for it. Didn't even bat an eye when I asked them all to get into the gorgeous bath for a fun photo but the ceremony was fast approaching and now was the time to get dressed. Bridesmaids first and the pink dresses flattered them so. Time for Keira and this is where my job as more than just a photographer kicked in, the bridesmaids had been called elsewhere and Keira needed some assistance to get into her dress so of course I was happy to oblige and get her into the last dress she would wear as a Miss and the first one she would wear as a Mrs and it was STUNNING!
The Ceremony room was set and a nervous Scott and his dashing groomsmen waited at the top of the isle for Keira. The ceremony was such a beautiful one, there was tears (some of them were mine), there was laughter and you could feel the love in the room! The couple had decided to go with an amazing very Scottish tradition of drinking from the Quaich, I love this tradition and it makes for some brilliant images. All round the service was beautiful and was a perfect match for the couple.
The weather wasn't the best but both Keira and Scott did not let that hamper the day or their photos so off we went to explore the gardens. Myself and Struan the Videographer had a brilliant time and Keira and Scott were naturals for the photos. We had so much fun and even got a gorgeous pooch in some images!
As the day drew to a close my last task was capturing the first dance of Mr and Mrs Bowie. Such a beautiful couple, such a beautiful day and it was completed with a beautiful dance. I stayed for a few more dances a I just knew that the night would be a brilliant one for all the guests and I was right laughter was rife and happiness truly was captured.
Hope the rest of your lives are filled with the most brilliant laughter and the most epic love!
